Eiffel Tower opening hours — the full-season reference

Weather and maintenance closures
The Summit lift closes above sustained winds of 70 km/h — more often than you'd think, usually in autumn and winter storms. The second floor remains open in nearly all conditions. Twice-yearly scheduled maintenance (typically late January and early September) can take one pillar out of service for 2–4 days.
Reading the day you're actually visiting
The official site publishes a day-ahead schedule by 18:00 the night before. For critical trips, check it before you leave the hotel; a surprise Summit closure is the single most common reason for a disappointed visit.
